Our Story
16 years of service with love.
How a group of young Bangaloreans decided that service wasn't someone else's job.
Origin
Founded April 10, 2010.
Prerana Trust was registered on August 4, 2010 — but the work began on April 10. Founder Santosh Kumar S R and the founding team adopted GirigowdanaDoddi Government School that same day, a commitment they've kept for every year since.
Named by Smt P Prathima, inspired by Swami Vivekananda and guided by Dr. M Pandurangachar — Prerana means "inspiration" in Kannada.
